JEANNINE COULTER LINDGREN

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Jeannine came to San Diego by way of Los Angeles, where she began her career in fitness, health and wellness. Jeannine's early training in indoor cycling and yoga included an extensive, hands-on apprenticeship at one of LA’s premier spin studios. The intense training of those initial certification courses taught Jeannine not only the athletic fundamentals of those particular disciplines, but also ignited a passion for fitness instruction of all varieties.

 

She developed this passion, as well as her experience and expertise, at the Beverly Hills Country Club, where she also became an NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Eventually adding Pilates and barre to her fitness repertoire, Jeannine's unique combination of certifications and training have enhanced and honed her skills as a trainer and instructor for students of all levels. Jeannine strives to amplify her student’s physical performance through the integration of breath and movement, as well as increased flexibility, stamina and strength.

 

Each class with Jeannine at Studio Cybrid will bring new and inspiring music, tons of individual encouragement and most importantly – you'll have so much fun, you won't even realize how hard you're working! BROOKE MARSHALL

Brooke is a San Diego native and has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She began her career by teaching spinning and fitness classes when she was 17 and still in high school. Her personal training career took off about four years ago when she dove into it head first letting her heart lead the way. Brooke loves working with people to not only improve their overall physical health, but their mental health as well.

SAM MALDONADO

Samantha has had an active lifestyle since she could remember. A former collegiate soccer player, her passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle really developed while attending California State University East Bay where she majored in Kinesiology: Exercise, Wellness and Nutrition with an emphasis in Athletic Training. Learning about how and why the body moves the way it does inspired Samantha to dig deeper into her passion for helping people, fitness and knowledge.

 

After graduating she decided to move down to San Diego where she felt she would develop as a person and an instructor. Samantha’s knowledge for how the body produces movements and recovers gives you the confidence that you will be doing the movements in the most efficient and effective ways.

ALEXA LAMBARRI

Alexa is an Encinitas native who has been in the fitness industry for 8 years. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and a Pre and Post Natal Fitness Specialist. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, International Relations from the University of California, San Diego. Then, got her Masters of Legal Studies and Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University.

 

Alexa enjoys working out, specifically lifting weights and cycling. 

 

Today, as a personal trainer and fitness instructor, Alexa’s goal is to give each client confidence and a love for fitness by bringing in results-oriented, exciting workouts in a positive, fun, and engaging class environment.

AHLIA BIONDI

Ahlia is a full-time yoga and meditation instructor who also teaches indoor cycling, and was formerly ranked 5th in the world as a professional tandem surfer! 

 

Ahlia wrote her 200-hour yoga alliance accredited teacher training curriculum in 2015 and has led hundreds of students through her programs. As a world traveler and scuba diver, Ahlia loves diverse cultural experiences and is passionate about picking up plastic and making the planet cleaner through these actions. Ahlia experienced a traumatic brain injury and infections in her small intestines that has led her to try all kinds of treatment types from surgery and pharmaceuticals to the most holistic and alternative practices and continues to search for answers to her ongoing digestive challenges. 

 

Ahlia leads an active lifestyle and focuses on balancing nutrition, hydration, movement, and rest to optimize her well-being. As the host of What’s Wellness With Ahlia Yoga - a podcast that focuses on physical wellness of course - but also the energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual components of wellness, and interviews guests who can offer practical tools and practices that are educational and inspirational for her audience.  Ahlia leads her teacher training and mentorship programs online and in-person, locally and globally. 

JULIE THAYER

Pilates

Julie Thayer first found Pilates in 2006 after researching many methods of exercise. Julie studied at Chakra Pilates in San Diego, CA, where she completed a year-long Teacher Training Program earning her Pilates Certification.

 

Mentored by instructors at opposite ends of the Pilates spectrum, Julie received a well-rounded and thorough education ranging from Classic to Contemporary Pilates. The in depth training covered all the apparatuses including Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, Jump-board, Ladder Barrel, Springboard, Mat and Classic Pilates as well as routines for Prenatal and Postpartum Pilates and Cardio Circuits.

 

As well as being trained on a mix of apparatuses, Julie’s education has been a mix of disciplines stemming from Lolita and Romana’s methods to Basi, Physical Mind Institute, Peak Pilates and more.

 

She has been teaching since January 2013 and continues to expand her education through workshops lead by Master instructors such as Lolita San Miguel, who was taught and certified by Joseph Pilates himself. Julie is always absorbing knowledge and learning from those around her. She is most intrigued in the mind-body connection and is determined to help every client find his or her own individual connections to establish a peaceful state of mind and a healthy body.
